Coffee Almond Ice Cream Bar exam

Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Bar

Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Bar

The coffee almond Ice Cream Bar by Haagen Dazs requires examination. The outer chocolately layer has bits of almonds, but it also has small morsels of toffee. The toffee is quite decadent with the coffee flavor of the ice cream. I purchased this ice cream bar during the break of my class and it was the perfect pick-me-up for a 3 hour class. Biting into the chocolate bar was a pleasant experience. The chocolate was cold to the touch of the teeth and lips. But it wasn’t until a piece of almond got crunched by my molars that I was able to experience the goodness. The coffee flavor of the ice cream was strong, yet not overwhelming. It was inviting especially since I haven’t had any coffee products for over a month. So this was quite a treat.

I can easily say that the Coffee Almond Ice Cream Bar by Haagen Dazs is more filling than the vanilla almond version. It had tremendously more flavor and leaves the muncher quite satisfied.

Facebook Inside Jokes in the Public News Feeds

Facebook News Feed Inside Jokes

Surprise!

There are a lot of inside jokes in this world. But some ways of telling inside jokes are more malicious than others. There is one technique of telling an inside joke privately to friends. And then there is telling an inside joke maliciously at someone else who doesn’t know the joke while in public. Then there is telling an inside joke on the public news feeds on Facebook where tons of people don’t know what the inside joke is. That is kind of like getting some free billboards near the freeway and painting an inside joke that only about 12 people understand the punchline to. So before you tell an inside joke as an status update, think of the hundreds of people who you will be hurting…because they want to know.

A possible solution to this problem could go like this. Let’s say, Lacy has an inside joke that she tells on her facebook news feed status update. It is something like: “Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream…2012 ain’t got nothing on me.”

Now some of her friends are a little confused by this update. Is she talking about eating Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream while watching the 2012 action film that was made by the same dudes who did The Day After Tomorrow? Or other friends may be wondering if by eating ice cream, Lacy is protecting herself from the 2012 Armageddon pseudo-science prophesy.

But what only a small group of friends, (5 to be exact) is that her ex boyfriend Cedric is allergic to mint flavour. And whenever he inhales mint, Cedric starts to swear. So to get revenge on Cedric when he took her out on an “Apology get-back together date” she purchased a small container of mint chocolate chip ice cream and opened the lid and put it in the back seat. And so Cedric kept swearing, and cussing the whole night uncontrollably after they saw their play on the downfall of Rome. And it just all happens, that “2012LUV” is Cedric’s license plate.

So by saying, “Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream…2012 ain’t got nothing on me,” her five friends got some good laughs but everyone else who commented looked dumb.

Well, we’ve been working on a solution. The trick is, whenever you tell an inside joke on facebook public news feed area…include a link in the comments section that will direct people who don’t get the joke to a color Power Point presentation that explains IN-DETAIL the funniness of the inside joke.

Dogvision 2011

Dogvision 2

Harvest is a special dog that sees many things. I wonder what she sees? She likes to sit down at the park and relax. Sometimes when I want to get started on my day, she lays down and makes us appreciate the little piece of nature that is the park. Harvest doesn’t seem to looking at just one thing either. She follows different movements and probably different smells as well. Yesterday she rolled over when I was patting her and scratching her neck. She stretches her neck out so it is easier for me to get at the lower parts of it. That is when she makes a smile while being upside=down that makes her look like a bat. Harvest is almost 11 years old, so that makes her a very wise lady in dog years.

Sometimes she stares at me when I walk around the house. I’ve heard people say that dogs stare because they are pack animals and they keep an eye on each other. And that most dogs view the humans in the household that they like as the pack leaders. So they tend to stare at the pack leaders for information on when the next snack is becoming available.

Here's a treat for you, Harvest!

It used to be hard to get her to want to go on walks. But now I bribe her with a small dog cookie. It is funny because she will come from all the way upstairs just when I make the sound of the cookies moving around in their container. One time I made the sound for a long time because I couldn’t hear her approach. And I kept moving the cookie around and around. And then I was thinking, “Well, she isn’t coming down. Maybe she is too tired for a cookie tonight?” Then to my surprise, Harvest was standing right behind me. I was startled. What a magical friend.

Have you ever had a dog that knew how to open doors with handles? Harvest likes to come in my room late at night even though my door is closed. She scares the lion tusks out of me. I guess she is interested in blogging. Maybe one day someone will design a keyboard for dogs with very large, paw-sized buttons.
