Sonic Meta Tagging

Sonic Meta Tagging

With voice recognition software at its current high level of sophistication, new advancements in the search engine optimization field may become available. The target for this potential technology may be videos on the internet that are primarily made up of human speech. The purpose would be to scan the audio track of a video and then use voice recognition software to pick out discernible words. After words are picked out they can be used in a type of “META” tag that could be used to make Videos more relevant and searchable on Google and other search engines. This is important because currently, text based written articles receive the most, “weight” for searches online.

The reason why text based articles get weighted heavier than videos is because even though videos have descriptions and tags associated with them, text based articles have crawlable text that robots use to determine whether or not the META keywords are truly relevant to the actual article.

So in that regard videos that are about interesting topics with poignant information are at a disadvantage to text based articles. Many videos rely on sharing by multiple people on social media network sites or require articles being written about the video and then having the video embedded in the post itself.

One solution to this problem that overidon.com presents is the concept of Sonic Meta Tagging. The same kind of surveillance technology that is already being used to detect keywords in telephone communication can be implemented toward videos.

So a hypothetical example of how this could be used would sound like this:

A person named Jordan made a video on YouVideoMaximum.net (ficticious website) that is basically a webcam recording of him talking about his concerns on how hamburgers are prepared at fast food restaurants. Jordan added information to his description and titled his video with his name and the words, “Burger Concerns.” In the description there is a little information with a general summary of what he is talking about.

But let’s say YouVideoMaximum.net eventually uses Sonic Meta Tagging and so when the video file was uploaded, the entire 9 minute speech on the hamburgers was scanned by speech recognition software. Then YouVideoMaximum.net creates a virtual transcript of the entire audio portion of the video that is visible to the computer mainframe. This transcript is converted into Sonic META tags that are actually crawlable by search engine robots. The file for this type of transcript can be modified and manipulated by editing a control file that is directly responsible for Sonic Meta Tags called robots.vox  (fictitious hypothetical file type).

What Jordan doesn’t realize is that his description is good, but there is information in his video regarding how employees use wipe their aprons with their gloves on and then proceed to make more hamburgers without changing the gloves. Jordan thought that everybody knew about this so he didn’t bother to mention it in his description, or title.

The beauty of this technology is that when a hypothetical internet user searches on a major engine for “hamburger wiping gloves on apron and continues working” there would be a slight likelihood that Jordan’s video would show up in the search results. How it would work would be that not only would the search engine scan the blogs and text based documents online for the words. And not only would the engine scan the descriptions of videos and the titles of videos. The search engine would be theoretically scanning INSIDE the audio portions of the videos themselves, via the text transcriptions in robots.vox.

A system such as Sonic Meta Tagging could have National Security applications as well. Currently Fusion Centers and information gathering agencies scan a tremendous amount of emails and websites for information that could be a security risk. With this technology a well equipped government agency with access to robots.vox or Sonic Meta Tagging could be able to quickly and efficiently search and scan for “red flagged” keywords or subject matter that may be a potential security risk.

Think of the millions of videos circulating on the internet. It is very likely that disturbed people or malevolent organizations may be using free internet video services in order to disseminate orders to each other by using “code” words. Since watching videos takes a tremendous amount of time, a system like Sonic Meta Tagging could enable security agencies to decrypt plans that are being distributed via free internet video services at a faster rate.

Remember, text based alpha-numeric information is much simpler than decoding wave form patterns. So an agency could really be more effective at weeding out malicious activity using Sonic Meta Tagging.

The real niceness of this type of technology is that it is just an amalgamation of several smaller technologies that have already been developed and perfected. So the research and development would be negligible.

Odd synchronistic instance

Filed under: Observations — Tyler @ 2:11 pm

There was an odd synchronistic instance that happened today. I was driving down PCH, heading to get maintenance on my car. And I saw a nice looking yellow car with a “FOR SALE” sign in the rear window. And when I saw the car I thought about how my brother likes Dodge Charger cars, especially ones from the 1970’s.

In some odd turn of events, about 15 seconds later when I turned right, a new Dodge Charger pulled up next to me.

Maybe those cars are getting more popular lately.

Robot Endhiran movie tagline suggestion

There has been a great deal of hype about this movie Endhiran. It is supposedly about robots that are extremely powerful and snazzy dressers. But the movie is from another country and I don’t think they have an English tagline/title for the film yet. So here’s a suggestion that I feel would make American moviegoers interested to see it opening night…maybe even in 3D.
HERE GOES:

“Can you really handle to robots…or will they handle you!”

Male Energy Cultivation Experiment 002A

explosive energy

It has been 12 days since the last cycle. I’m noticing some definite positive physical and mental effects but they have been clouded up until around Monday, or 4 days ago. The reason why, is because I got sick the next day after my last outflow and I’ve been recovering until Monday. This is leading me to believe that Energy Cultivation at least for me, is directly related to the immune system. As mentioned in the post on meditation, I’ve been adding meditation to the routine of physical exercise and restraint from outflows. One thing that was interesting was that around 5 PM today I felt tightness in my neck. This tightness I usually only feel after a release so I wasn’t sure what was up.

So I went to the gym, I haven’t been there since Monday. And I did some exercise and that made my neck feel better temporarily but now it is sore again. I think part of the problem is because I haven’t been doing as much meditation this week as I did the one last week. So I am going to keep an eye on this.

As for any mental or energy benefits, I’ve noticed a couple over the last two days. I’ve had greater clarity and energy to study and work on multiple projects. I’ve been able to write as well as work on the animation for the music video project. So that is a real plus. That alone is making me want to pursue this further.

Some people in the past have talked to me about NE’s. They have said things like, “Why cultivate if I’m just going to loose it anyway?” That is an interesting subject, but it is also deceptive. I’ve found that NE’s actually aren’t complete outflows. And the reason for this is because they may be a physical outflow, but usually they are involuntary and are not mentally premeditated.

The premeditation is a huge factor because the mindset is just as important as the physical state in my experience with energy cultivation. I think premeditation is what makes us backslide even farther than events just happening.

But that being said there is something that can easily be done about NE’s. The first thing is to make sure one is getting enough aerobic exercise. That really helps. But I noticed it doesn’t affect NE’s unless I do strength training as well. When I do those two things in conjunction with meditation NE’s are non-existent.

Another factor in NE’s is the amount of meat consumption and digestion of pungent foods like onions and garlic. Ever wonder why vampires are afraid of garlic? It’s not because they are concerned about bad breath, lemme tell ya. Of course, vampires aren’t real, (I hope) but the concept of vampiric attitudes toward energy cultivation is something worth discussing.

One thing that I’ve experienced is that what we gaze at is directly related to our energy levels. If you watch TV or work on the computer, a significant amount of energy is going toward those advertisements on the TV or points of interest being sparked by the computer. The whole idea of watching TV or using the computer to “Relax” is nonsensical at best. We are not relaxing at all. We are actually focusing our eyes and the brain is processing information. I’ve discussed this concept in detail on my response to commercials and 3D TV in a previous article that you can read HERE.

So what is in fact happening instead of relaxation, is that energy is flowing out of the body and mind and into the TV or computer. And the experience of being DRAINED is often confused with relaxation. But it is a drain. It is more similar to a bloodletting that might occur when a 12th century physician would use leeches to suck the “bad blood” from a patient. Now you may be thinking, “Why would he be saying this when he is writing on the computer right now?” And the reason is that although TV and computers are drains on energy. It is the amount of time that is spent on them that I find is the bottleneck on the outflow. So unlike sexual release, where the whole thing pops at once. Watching TV is more like slowly bleeding from one’s side: When you finally get up and walk away the body with eventually be able to plug the wound. This is of course unless you are addicted to TV and constantly talk about 30 Rock, which makes you technically a Television Hemophiliac.

I’m on the computer all the time. So I constantly have to break it up by walking around. Pacing around the house. Taking the dog for a walk and getting some fresh air. Or else by walking to Starbucks and getting some tea and talking casually with the baristas over there. Things like this are important to get the ideas flowing and especially to stimulate some blood circulation.

On a strange level, Energy Cultivation has made me re-evaluate my Catholic school upbringing. It is completely strange to realize that I needed to explore arcane conversations with Gurus and friends, in order to actually see the merit in following the instruction I had when I was in grade school. I think a big problem is that when I was little, none of the actual benefits of energy cultivation were explained. And so when I had energy flowing and pulsing inside me later in life, I didn’t really know what to do with it. And it is flatly obvious but it needs to be mentioned how the media constantly tries to manipulate the male libido in order to get us to purchase items in order to fuel our economy.

Another thing that I’ve experienced is that when I feel drained, I don’t want to eat as much. So I’ve come to understand that metabolism is related to energy cultivation somehow. My old guru once explained that our digestive system is similar to a fire. Too much food, and the fire gets smothered and dies down and is extinguished. Too little food, and the flame doesn’t have the fuel to burn brightly and we lack energy. But with the right combination of food used in conjunction with our intuitive knowledge and observations on what our body needs vs. what we are craving…well that makes the fire burn and can allow for energy to move up the spinal cord for different purposes.

Since we’re here we might as well talk about the purpose for this stuff in the first place. Is any of this stuff necessary anyway? One prevailing idea is that life exists in human form, for us to experience the pleasures and joys of reality and sensory stimulus. And so denying ourselves of our very nature and desires is inhuman.

I actually don’t agree with that above concept. The reason why, is that there is plenty of time to experience tons of pleasures and sensory joys. That is what being young is all about. But there is a time when we realize that there is more to life than simply getting our wiggles out. You little wiggler.

Yeah, I think the reason for Energy Cultivation truly depends on the goals of the individual. One can use it for physical strength which can be used for intimate romantic relationships. Or one can use it for creative purposes, or for the sake of Cultivation in its own right.

But what is really the point? Now that I think about it, I feel that Energy Cultivation helps me cope with the known and prepare for the unknown. That’s it. And for right now, that’s enough.
