Play Classic Nintendo Games for Free Online! Nintendo8.com

About a week ago I was at Peet’s Coffee and Tea and I wanted to reminisce on some classic video games. The one that came to mind was CastleVania for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). So I typed CastleVania into Google and I was expecting to find some reviews on the great action game. But instead I found a link to this great site, Nintendo8.com!

Nintendo8.com is an online gaming area where you can play Classic Games on your computer online without downloading any additional software. The site uses a Java platform of an emulator called vNES. This Java version of the emulator allows people anywhere in the world to play classic games right in their Firefox or Internet Explorer browser. I was on my laptop so it was fun using the keyboard to control Simon from CastleVania. You use the arrow keys to move, and “Z” is the B button and “X” is the A button. You control star and select with the Enter and Control keys.

Play the Legend of Zelda Now!

On the Nintendo8.com website you can play everything from The Legend of Zelda to Contra. The emulation quality is good. My only complaint is that the V-Sync (Vertical Synchronization) is a bit choppy when you move horizontally. So games like CastleVania are fun to play for nostalgia sake, the actual gaming experience is far better played on another emulator or an Original NES Console. One game that played very well was, The Legend of Zelda. The reason why it was good was because the screen stays relatively still, and it only moves when you shift from area to area. Overall if you want to kill some time while waiting for your drink to come at your local coffee shop, I definitely recommend nintendo8.com for your classic gaming needs. But if you want a hardcore gaming experience, nothing beats playing the games on an original NES Console! In order to play the games you will need Java installed on your computer. Love Juice by SYMBOLONE – Killer Danger Remix – Audio Bliss

I’ve had the pleasure of reviewing a few great songs on that I’ve heard on MySpace. There is something special about finding a new song that you play over and over again because it taps into a certain emotion. In this case I’ve found just that, it’s a song by SYMBOLONE called Love Juice. The song is a triumphant epiphany of sound that makes you want twirl your Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sais in the air! This version of Love Juice was remixed to perfection by the French Band Danger!

The Danger remix of SYMBOLONE’s Love Juice opens with innovative sounds that remind me of 80’s video games. The sound effects sound almost like a power up from a NES game or when you enter the front door in CastleVania. The distorted wavy delay sends my ears into preparation for when the main theme kick in at 50 seconds. The lead plays the boisterous chorus like a synth trumpet made out of the glowing metal from Tron. Then these cool sounds woodwind instruments kick in and take over the track and set the stage for the next chorus. Next there is a killer synth solo that bounces all over the grand staff. Sliding and twirling auio bliss all over the electro-magnetic spectrum. The Danger Love Juice Remix ends with its chorus stuttering and pounding into your eardrums on a triumphant sustained note.

The Danger remix of SYMBOLONE’s Love Juice does total justice to the original song. The original Love Juice is a bit slower than the remix and it has a more walking feel to it. This is different from Danger’s break-dance tempo for Love Juice. Overall, the Danger remix of SYMBOLONE’s Love Juice is superb and pulls the listener onto a level of joy. Once you hear the song you will want to play it over and over again in order to constantly feel the positive energy that is captured and tapped into by the music. New Remix! Flavor Stride – Free Download MP3 and Project Files

Flavors Adelicatehero has just remixed the song, Forrest Stride and made his own version of the track called Flavor Stride!

Flavors took Overidon’s track and gave it superhuman muscles and a mind of its own by bringing the breakbeat goodness!

Do you know who Jonathan Campos is? He a comedian/rock star/Apprentice Gardner from Whittier, California. He’s funny, he loves the band Ween and he rocks at guitar! The man is so inspiring, that he has his own fan site on MySpace.

But why should you be friends with Jonathan Campos? Will he help you get a job? Nope. He’s always looking for work himself. Will he fight off your evil enemies? Not a chance. Jonathan Campos is a lover first among all things. But will Jonathan Campos show you a good time, give you a good laugh or share his skills with you? YOU BET! So without further ado, here’s 2 Good Reasons why you should be Friends with Jonathan Campos:

1. Jonathan Campos is hilariously funny. You can find him on MySpace comedy by clicking here! He’s the kind of guy who isn’t afraid of getting in your face to tell you how much he likes you! I remember immediately liking Jonathan Campos’ style of humor when he told me a story about stupid pictures taken at parties. He said something like, “Some people think I’m gay, but I got pictures of a lot of people at parties…having fun, but looking PRETTY gay!” Everyone looks a bit funny when they are viewed candidly and Jonathan Campos is no exception. But when he gets his arms around you…you will feel LOVED! This brings me to the next reason why you should be Friends with Jonathan Campos.

2. Jonathan Campos loves you for you! It’s true! Jonathan doesn’t seem to judge people by how weird they are. I had first hand experience with this when Jonathan Campos posed in this picture with me. Just look at those cut off gloves! Not quite fashionable on my part but whatever! I remember when Jonathan and I got McDonalds together and it was a big deal for him. He said we were good friends because we shared that experience together. Let’s see…the man is great at sharing his kind opinions about honest work. For example, Jonathan was one of the first people to comment on my song Forrest Stride.

Oh wait! Here’s some more reasons why you should be friends with Jonathan Campos just as a bonus for people who read the article this far! For starters, he’s got a great Fan Site on MySpace. His Fan Site is growing day by day so make sure to visit it and share some kind comments. That makes him feel good.
