I witnessed something sneaky

Filed under: Observations — Tyler @ 7:02 pm

I witnessed something sneaky. I was at Starbucks yesterday waiting in line to get something to drink when a lady in front of me ordered a Venti Drip Coffee. She asked if there was a “Bold” coffee. The Barista said that they only had decaf and Pike. She said OK for the Pike’s Place roast and then the Barista turned away to get her coffee. Everything seemed normal except that the lady opened her purse slyly when he turned around. I wouldn’t have noticed it at first but I used to be a Loss Prevention Employee at a bookstore in the past so I kind of know what to look for with suspicious behavior. Well, to my surprise while the Barista was getting her coffee, the lady STOLE A BANANA from the banana tray super fast and stuffed it in her purse. I was staring in disbelief at what transpired. That lady stole a banana so fast!

I thought to myself, “Should I say something? Should I report this to the Barista?” For a moment I debated the idea of whether or not I had some sort of arcane responsibility as a Starbucks customer to report this theft. Was she stealing? Yes. That much was clear. But would saying something about it cause more harm than good? I thought so. I pondered the situation and decided that making a scene would be unavoidable if I tried to bring the banana theft to the Barista’s attention. There would be no doubt that the lady would have been embarrassed and the line of customers would have been disrupted. So I decided to keep my mouth shut and blog about it. I was going to blog about it last night but I decided to see Legion instead. That movie was a turd. It was laughable at parts when I don’t think that the directors were trying to make it funny. NOT SCARED.

So yeah, I saw a lady steal a banana.

Really Cute Blogging Picture Cartoon Toothpaste

That’s such a cute cartoon. I love how even the mouse has a little face. I’ve felt like my computer has been telling me to blog lately. Oh yeah! Why has my viewership gone down just because I’ve been playing Heroes of Newerth instead of blogging? Do you people like consistent articles or something? Well, I think the drop in viewership is directly proportional to my drop in posts lately and the surge in viewership that I had last week was directly proportional to my increase in posts so I’m onto something here. I’m going to make triple sure to blog as often as I can in order to keep people wanting to come back and visit for stuff that will give you an “Oh!” or maybe a “HA ha!” That’s my goal.

The reason why I like this cartoon so much is because Toothpaste for Dinner really captured the anthropomorphocity of computers.
