It is June, and that’s a good enough reason for a new Header Image. It’s a pleasure to have Harvest the Dog on the header. Her smile should bring a smile to the thousands of visitors we get each month.

Saturday update
I’m doing some flash animation in low frame rate for a presentation. It’s all my laptop can handle. I’m wondering why the sound export is so poor right now. The worst part about having to re-render projects over and over again isn’t the time wasted as much as it is stress on he hard drive. After my last experience I’d like to minimize the amount o hard drive grinding at least until I switch to solid state.
Hopefully by the time I invest in a new despot the solid state drives go down in price.
Ok it looks like the audio quality is up to par now. I had to change the publish settings in flash to raw audio format in stereo in order to maintain he high quality audio recording I made for the presentation. It was counter intuitive because I didn’t expect to have to modify anything except he QuickTime export settings.

Unfortunate News
The main computer, “Overidon Frame” is damaged beyond repair. The specialists working on it say that they will be able to at least salvage the data in the “my documents” folder.
This must be karmic retribution for writing that article on cloud computing.
If the data is saved I will be able to continue working on the music video at a later time. But there is no way the laptop, “Overidon Claw” can handle an animation project that big. So I’ll have to postpone production temporarily.
Once I get a new computer capable of video editing and animation I’ll resume production. Until then the articles and other writing will continue as usual.
