Vampirism can pull one away from inner peace
Have you ever heard someone say, “That person is a vamp!” or “Watch out, that guy/gal is a psychic vampire!” These terms have meaning but they are difficult to pinpoint. At times, the ideas are vaporous and they float around our consciousnesses like moths in a dusty room. Other times, we have a clear feeling of being drained or perhaps draining…and the energy can exit the body similarly to how someone feels drained right before he or she falls asleep.
An interesting video by “Teal” which is embedded below for your convenience thoroughly covers the concept of psychic vampirism in such a way that is both accessible and unforgiving. I like how she brings up the idea of source energy and how it relates to this phenomena.
As someone who definitely would classify himself as an absorber of knowledge, this video really hits home. Teal presents abstract concepts with a professional attitude which make me interested in hearing more of her wisdom on the subject. Granted, this is my first time listening to one of Teal’s videos, so I can’t verify her or anyone else’s psychic credentials. But I’ve never been one for credentialism in the first place. If someone is presenting a clear argument, I’m game for listening. And if he or she can keep me interested for 20 minutes plus…well then there must be something of value.
I’ve had this pomegranate in the refrigerator for a few days now. Several people have recommended pomegranates as healthy snacks and so I actually bought one the other day. But for some reason I hadn’t eaten it yet. Carrots, strawberries, blackberries, even mangoes are easy. None of those fruits are new. I’ve done them before. But a pomegranate…that’s new. But after watching half of this video, I took a break to eat the pomegranate and make some coffee. I wanted to take a risk and be healthier for it. Maybe this video inspired me with some extra confidence to add a new thing to my healthy snack repertoire?
I know what a lot of you are probably thinking, “Oh, he’s just watching the video because the lady is a pretty face.” Nope. That’s not it. Teal is very beautiful, I’ll give you that. But her information is excellent. I especially liked how she brought up the law of attraction in such a way which reminded me of wave theory. Two things cannot occupy the same space unless they are identical. In basic musical wave theory, if two identical waves coincide and synchronize, they will simply amplify each other. But if the waves are synchronized, yet are completely opposite, destructive interference will occur and the waves will appear to be standing null-waves. In regards to psychic vampirism, it’s as if she’s taking something like, “Law of Attraction” concepts which are often abused and oversimplified, and she’s actually using these concepts to make a solid underpinning for an argument.
Overall, I think this video is informative, though provoking and highly interesting.
