Trading Time vision of movement

Trading Time

We’re all moving. We’re all on a continuous cycle.

A room is just a room. But there’s something about one’s space. It has meaning where before it was a shell.

Is the sum of a human being the point? Or is there an aspect to our lives that has greater meaning?

Every waking moment should have value.

Not a square inch of space should be wasted.

I filled my humble room over the span of 2 months. It took much more time this way, but the room has a realness now. I feels like it is my own. And now I want to hold what I’ve got.

It gets hot down here. But I love it. It’s hot so I change my clothes. It’s dark so I get good sleep.

But an reasonable place to live that has access to what you need is key for getting things done.

Each time I went to my storage unit to remove a new item, I knew I was faced with a choice. Something for ascetic value, or something for utilitarian purposes.

Then there were the boxes that were unmarked. Those were like little cardboard shaped surprises. Presents to oneself.

I’ve found art that I made decades ago in pristine condition. Things that I thought I’d lost forever, pieces of one’s adolescence and teenage years that were presumed to be felt in memory only…if not forgotten completely.

To have someone’s memory repaired, rejuvenated. For what are we if not the culmination of remembered moments?

Then there were tired documents. Things meant to be forgotten. Purging of papers that have no meaning anymore. Receipts for gasoline from 2006, receipt for sneakers from 2007.

The video is a record of both song and time. An imprint of forgotten moments with music that symbolizes the uncertainty of physical change.

Regardless of where I’m going, I’m here now.

Broccoli, Mushrooms and Carrots

broccoli, carrots and mushrooms

I like to cook. Cooking for myself takes a long time. But it is worth it because I get to control the ingredients and the preparation style.

This is some simple broccoli, mushrooms and carrots. I just boiled the stuff and made some rice to put underneath.

I used butter as well as eggs to increase the calories and nutrients in the dish.

The trick is to boil the veggies until they become so soft that almost all the water is gone away. The veggies will be a sort of sloppy stew.

Many people say that boiling vegetables makes the nutrients go away. That is actually only true if you drain the water. If you keep boiling everything until it becomes a reduction, the nutrients will stay in the stew. Where could the nutrients go if you don’t drain the water?

It’s almost silly that people don’t think of that.

It’s not like the nutrients get absorbed into the wok. That’d be ridiculous. That only happens if you do something like bake peanut oil into your wok to make it sealed. But that’s completely different.

The company I work for called, energyrebels.com sells this Tikka Masala Sauce that I’ve used. It actually makes the stew taste a litter better. It adds some extra flavor to it. Here’s a link to check out the article I wrote on the sauce.

Male Energy Cultivation Experiment 007A

Filed under: MECE — Tyler @ 2:29 am

I’m back and I finally have something of value to report.

I’ve been looking for a trick to make things work. I hate the feeling of the ancy-mcfraggledoc so I needed to come up with a system.

This new system is working out quite well. I’m nine days into this cycle and I got a feeling this one is going to be the one.

The supplies required are:

1. A 24 hour gym with a pool that is within walking distance

2. that’s it

When I say 24 hour gym I don’t mean one of those that are 24 hours monday-friday but on the weekends they close at 10. That’s not good.

I want the real prog rock.

I figured out that headaches, lethargy and tons of other stuff have to do with nutrients not being able to get to the brain fast enough. And conversely, the brain creates nutrients that don’t get to the rest of the body fast enough.

The ancy-mcdonglepeeps feeling comes from stagnant energy and nutrients staying in lower areas too long. Walking is great, but then it just moves it around. The whole thing needs to be moving around. That way when you sleep, you’re able to get tons of work done.

I mean actual work.

A few days ago. I was sleeping and in the middle of the dream I felt myself say, “Wait a minute…why am I dreaming about violence right now….oheyeah! I played an hour of Fallout 3 before bed. No wonder.”

But a week before that, I was sleeping and when I woke up I realized that in my actual dream I was still doing work. But the strange thing is that when I woke up I had a handle on my work day. It was as if I was organizing everything in my dream or perhaps on a subconscious level. It was very strange.

So here’s what I do. I walk to the gym whenever I have excess lower chakra energy. Then I do a little bit of eliptical cardio, then some triple sit-ups. The ones where you go on an incline and then do one in the middle and then one to the side then one to the middle again then one to the other side and then repeat until you don’t want to do that anymore.

Oops. Actually I do some basic yoga stretching before the situps.

Then after the situps I’ll go do either assisted pull ups or assisted dips depending on what I did the day before. After the assisted dips or pull ups I either do another basic exercise of my choice or I change and then hit the jacuzzi.

After the jacuzzi I’ll do some swimming and then go into the wet steam room.

Then during the walk home I just feel great. I can easily breathe and the next day seems like it will be chump change.

Sleep is excellent and if I’m still not tired after that I’ll read a spiritual book for a while. Then I’m good.

And that’s how things have been going for the past 9 days.

I think the jacuzzi really helps add some energy to the lower back. I know for men we keep a lot of stress energy in the lower back and in the neck/shoulders. But of course this depends on the person. My main areas easily are the ones just mentioned.

One thing that is excellent is that there are some forms of stimulus that can create tears of joy or sudden realization. Those are superb. I was listening to a new song that I had never heard before the other day, and I got those that are kind of combination of surprise, joy, laughter, deep spiritual feelings, and also connection. That’s when I knew that things were going really well.

That doesn’t happen unless the brain is overloaded with energy and it wants to create new pathways. I just let the tears just get out and then laugh the whole thing off. That’s what the gym is great for. You can’t let the energy stay in your head. You need to move it back into the body so the nutrients from the brain can send the signals and information of bliss and happiness back into the extremities of the body.

All these people are freaking out about nanotechnology and what it has to offer. I completely agree, it will be good for doing serious repair-work. But one’s own cells are the most advanced technology that anyone could ever make.

Your cells each have their own sensory technology and energy creation facilities and countless other faculties within them. When you have a moment of good vibes, you can harness that, let the nerve toxins flow out the tear ducts and sweat glands…and then begin to send new instructions to even the farthest reaches of the body.

How to make 103 dollars with your blog

103 dollar check from blogging

103 dollar check from blogging - CLICK TO ENLARGE

This is an addendum to our previous article, “How to make 25 dollars with your blog.” If you are new to blogging and need a place to start, read that article. If you are a little more comfortable with blogging and already have one cooking, then this will cover more advanced concepts.

When you monetize your blog, you will have several options for making money. You can sell products, do affiliate advertising, do adsense-style advertising, do text-links etc…The list goes on an on.

This articles only covers one thing. That’s Google AdSense advertising. I would expect that advertising through yahoo and others would be similar.

Let’s begin.

You already have a blog. You already have articles. You already have fans. You already are tracking your stats at least once a week. (preferably once per day)

The big debate is on number of ads vs traffic.

I decided to go the route of less ads. This is because I originally had a three-column site. But I changed overidon.com to have only two columns. It looks much better on small devices like an iPhone or an iPad. Also the site looks less cluttered.

I also switched from having multiple ad blocks, to having just a single area for ads on the left. That actually worked out better for me. I began to get clicks on my left ad block even though I hadn’t been posting as much.

Pop up ads annoy me. So why would I use those ads on my person site? It doesn’t make sense to do anything to your own blog that you wouldn’t enjoy on someone else’s.

I was approached by someone to do in-article text link ads. You need to be very careful when doing that. One company seemed legit but then they backed out. Another company was not legit after I did my research on them. You need to have the third eye of wisdom when accepting money from anyone.

Your blog is your baby. Remember that.

Overidon.com hasn’t been around for as long as the first post to now. In fact overidon.com has been a website of one form or another since approximately 2003.

That being said, I have had to pay for web hosting on the site since 2003. That’s racked up to about $1,000 – so I’m definitely still in the red here.

But in all fairness, overidon.com has only been a consistent blog since 2009. And I’ve spent about $400 on hosting and domain renewals since that time.

So right now, you could say I’m $297 in the hole. I am perfectly happy with that.

Making 103 dollars wasn’t easy. It took roughly 2 years of AdSense revenue to generate that money. Also, I’ve heard of sites that got in trouble with Google for breaching some point of the terms of service and then they didn’t get paid. So you really need to make sure you read the entire terms of service. Read the whole thing, cover to cover. I spent hours reading it. I also read any changes in the terms of service.

So how did I make 103 dollars with my blog?

Well, I made anywhere from two to eight dollars per month over the past couple years. I know two bucks per month isn’t a lot of money to sneeze at. But the truth is. I’d be doing this anyway, even if I didn’t have an ad. So the idea that I got next year’s hosting paid for is a very nice thing.

I told my friends to read my blog when I talked to them. If there was an article that I thought might stimulate the mind of a friend I’d tell him or her. I didn’t get business cards made till a few months ago. Most of the spreading of the word happened through facebook and word of mouth. Also google searches for keywords that appeared in my articles helped drive about 40 – 70% of the traffic, depending on the month.

If your blog is not a variety blog like mine, then you can still make money. Actually, you’ll probably make even more money than me if you choose a specific genre of information. The most important thing is that you love what you do and you’d do it even if you didn’t get paid. Trust me, that will shine through in every sentence.

People know when you’re losing emotional content momentum in an article. That will make it so you lose repeat visitors. Also, don’t steal anyone else’s content.

The main thing to know about making 103 dollars with your blog is that you need content. Overidon.com had approximately 550 posts as of August, 2011.

By having 500+ posts of good content, you will have a better chance that articles will last the test of time. If you just regurgitate what everyone else is saying, you’ll never get the hits long into the future. That’s why it is important to have original content with as much individual style, opinion, research, original photos, video content…the works. Every little bit helps.
