Carrot Juice to the Max

Carrot Juice and Blender

Ain't gotta tell ME twice

Juice is so good for you. Especially so, when you combine eating a good meal and then drinking vegetable or healthy fruit juices as a snack/treat later in the night. I love rewarding myself for going to the gym, by drinking a big container of carrot juice. The weird thing is that I have actually had improvements to my vision about two months into my carrot juice consumption. Wikipedia says that vitamin A is good for eyesight. I used to think that was a myth. But I’ve found from experience that it is true. Vitamin A is in carrots indirectly because carrots have beta-carotene. And beta-carotene can be converted into vitamin A by our bodies. I first noticed changes to my vision during nighttime freeway driving. I remember being surprised by how clear the road signs were at a distance. I closed my left eye, because my right eye is kind of blurry during distance viewing. And I could still see the sign very clearly.

That is super cool, because I was actually considering getting laser surgery in 10 years or so, because I expected for my eyesight to eventually disintegrate with age. But I would greatly prefer to drink a satisfying beverage over having laser beams slice up my eyeballs.

THANKS VEGGIES!

Tyler Stansfield Jaggers - Stand Up Comedy at the Malone's open mic

Thursday, February 3 at 8:00pm

21 and older please

Location
Malone’s Bar
604 E. Dyer rd.
Santa Ana, CA

On February 3rd, at 8:00PM till late. I will be doing a 12 minute Stand-Up Comedy set. There will be an open mic night at Malone’s bar in Santa Ana. Here’s a link to the Facebook event Invite. It is open to the public and there is no cover. It is just requested that you order a drink or two…or more. There will be mostly music performed at the open mic, with some spoken word. But I am going to be doing a rehearsed and practiced comedy set. I’ve been working on these jokes for months and I’ve picked some serious winners that will make you laugh. The event is going to be hosted by Theo Hirsch, he is a prolific and influence gaining talk show host for KUCI. His talk show gets some serious traffic and we are really lucky to have him as the host.

I’ve worked with Theo Hirsch in the past in Open Mic and performance experiences, and he truly knows how to put on an entertaining show. If there is a man who is altruistic enough to share his energy with an audience, it would be Theo Hirsch.

You may be wondering: “What kind of comedy is he going to be doing?”

ANSWER: The kind of jokes that will get you to the brink of soiling yourself, without the need for extra dry cleaning expenses.

I have done stand up comedy in the past. But since I’ve enjoyed several more colorful life experiences in the past three years, the material is indeed more compelling.

Why comedy? I blog and do music…so why venture into this challenging and often humiliating form of public speaking?

stray dog

Would you massage this dog?

The real reason why, is because I feel that Stand-Up Comedy is one of the highest forms of verbal entertainment. Using humor can alleviate stress, which is far too rampant in our society. Also, if I keep telling and testing my jokes on my family members, I fear for my life. So basically, by coming to this comedy show you will be doing a great form of noble benevolence…only rivaled by the washing and massage of a stray homeless dog with leprosy.

Now you might be thinking, “Why watch Tyler Stansfield Jaggers do Stand-Up Comedy? If I wanted to really laugh, I’d just watch my Grandmother paint Vaseline covered Easter Eggs, just like I did last Thursday.” And even though you may be right, why limit yourself? DO BOTH! If you end up being a little late, you will just look that much cooler.

SEE YOU THERE!

Mango HI CHEW reminds of Bonkers

Hi-Chew

Hi-Chew reminds me of Bonkers

HI-CHEW mango candy reminds me of Bonkers. They are soft and they have that box shape that is so appealing. The thing I remember the most about bonkers was how they had two different flavors. Well, actually, they had two different colors. If my memory serves me, they didn’t actually vary in flavor. But visually, they were appealing. These mango Hi-Chew are very tasty because they have a shape that is reminiscent of Bonkers. But they are a little bit softer and creamier. So they taste better. I remember Bonkers were more artificial tasting than Hi-Chew. This isn’t to say that Hi-Chew isn’t artificial. They have partially hydrogenated something in there. These candies are such a subtle combination of fruity and mildly sweet. And since their texture is so smooth, the package goes very quickly. I have trouble pacing out the Hi-Chew snaking experience.
