Michael Fantasy - Action Scene
Michael Fantasy is an intense animated short that is to some insane music from Final Fantasy. This film is actually a sequel to another movie on YouTube called Michael Quest III. What happens is that Michael Jackson from the Moonwalker game just got finished kicking Princess Toadstool from Super Mario Bros. into outer space. Then he battles Mario and Bowser. But then the movie shows clips from the previous adventure. Meanwhile, the music is totally rocking and it blows your mind. Next, we find out that Zangief is hurtling toward Earth. But he is about the size of Jupiter and he has Princess Toadstool on his back. The cool thing is that we learn this information from another unidentified character who is having a dream. This is basically a clairvoyant experience that is portrayed very well via the use of a thought bubble. The awesome part is that the clairvoyant character talks to several characters from other NES games and enlists their help to save the world from Zangief. While they are on their way there there are a few attacks against Zangief vis-a-vi projectiles but they do little to stop him. Someone from it looks like Bases Loaded hits a home run that exits Earth’s gravity but it just bounces against Zangief’s chest.
Finally the heroes all converge to a specific area in the Mushroom Kingdom. They all fire from a cannon at rapid speed and attack Zangief. One of my favorite aspects of this specific scene is that even a flipper from, “Pinball” is attacking Zangief. I guess that little flipper is a hero. Then a squadron of fighter planes launch from Earth to fight Zangief. This includes the ship from “Gradius” and a few others that I couldn’t recognize. Another cool thing is that one of the fighters drops a heavy weight on Zangief’s head but his head regenerates but it looks slightly damaged. Perhaps Zangief is a zombie after this point. Zangief is destroyed when Michael Jackson shoots him with his laser.
