This website is an amazing free resource where you can read Sumerian translations and transliterations. If you are a fan of Sumerians I really recommend that you visit this site. In case you want to check out their home page where you can search literature by number then click on this link. I was reading some of their proverbs last night and had a blast. Here’s an example of one of their awesome proverbs: “Whatever it is that hurts you, don’t talk to anyone about it.” How rad is that? That’s seriously good advice. Don’t talk about what hurts you. People need to remember that. Too often people give away their weaknesses like an open book and they leave themselves open to manipulation and exploitation. I love the Sumerians and think they are awesome. Big thanks to Oxford for making that website. It is seriously excellent resource. There are enough texts in there to take years to read them all and absorb their wisdom.
