Hidden meaning connected to Avatar and Legion

hidden meaning

There is a hidden message if you read in between the lines of Avatar and Legion

There is a hidden meaning connected to Avatar and Legion. These suggestions include bio-chemical interactions, rebellion and usurpation. I saw both movies in the theater and I enjoyed them. Mostly because I like going to the movies. I had fun watching “Year One,” that’s how much I like movies. But if I rented Year One I probably would have turned it off. There is something special about going to the theater to see a movie. You get the full experience. It doesn’t really matter how good your sound system is, or how many snacks you have at home, the theater has people in it and you just can’t beat that. Why am I mentioning this? Well, there is something to be said about having so many people in a theater focusing on the same screen at the same time. It makes a perfect set-up for sending a message. That much is obvious. But did you know that when you watch something on a bigger screen it increases your comprehension of whatever you’re looking at? Now when I first read that I thought that you could move closer to the screen and comprehend more. But there is a trick to it. There is a sweet spot where you get the optimal viewing experience, so getting super close to a 24 inch screen can only get so good. But if you have a large movie theater sized screen, the eyes can relax and you can watch from a distance and comprehend the movie with ease.

There is another factor with movie going. You aren’t actually relaxing. You may think you are having a relaxing time, but in fact your brain is in Beta wave mode. I did a research project on this once. When people are watching TV or Movies, your brain is in Beta, or Work or even stress mode. This may seem startling because you aren’t moving while watching a film, but it makes sense because your eyes and brain are decoding information to make sense of the film. A cool website contradicts my research and says that TV produces Low Alpha waves. Check out this website to see the paper on Alpha Waves. What is interesting is that the Alpha waves are supposed to make the mind vulnerable to suggestion. So even if I’m wrong, and movies make the mind relaxed, the mind is still relaxed enough to be manipulated. What does this have to do with, Legion and Avatar? Well, these two movies have some deep hidden meanings below all the action. And their close release dates are linked. I think the media intentionally timed the release dates of Avatar and Legion to give a certain effect on the public.

massive rave

Massive Rave

Avatar and Legion both deal with rebelliousness and doing the right thing. That much is clear to anyone who paid cursory attention to the movies primary themes. But for Avatar, there are several sub-themes. One such sub-theme in Avatar is one about connecting directly to nature. In the movie, the cat creatures used neurological tendrils in the braids of their hair (probably another tail) in order to connect to their environment and other creatures that had similar appendages. For example, the main character was able to connect his hair braid thing to a horse’s hair braid thing and then he was able to give commands to the horse with his mind. Another example would be when the main character, Jake connected his braid to the big tree of life in the story. This allowed Jake to hear memories of stuff. What is interesting is that when connections with the neurological braid were made to creatures and things in nature, often a close up of the eye was shown, dilating like the interaction caused some sort of shift in consciousness and/or a drug-like effect. This is the most important hidden meaning in the film Avatar, it is basically saying that it is possible to directly connect and merge with the consciousness of other entities. One such connection that people seek today is oneness. People feel isolated and alone and empty, so they seek to fill that emptiness with relationships and connections. This is a very natural tendency. But in Avatar there are two scenes where the entire tribe is near the great tree doing a ritual where one of them is connecting to the tree. They are undulating and swaying and chanting and the whole process looks like the characters are at some kind of massive rave.

This brings me to my next point. Is Avatar trying to tell us something about the connection with nature? In the movie Sigourney Weaver’s character was too hurt to survive the ceremony where everyone was having the big ritual with the tree. But the character Jack was able to survive. This symbolizes that, communion with nature is for the healthy and the young. Much like how rave culture is dominated by youth. The hidden meaning is that the film Avatar is basically telling young people to experiment with mind altering situations. In a nutshell, people watching the film will be envious of the phallic-like connection appendages that the native creatures (the Na’vi) have. And they will want to seek connections with nature and other people that have similar mind opening and eye dilating effects.

Let’s summarize what the different factions in Avatar represent in modern day life. There are the Humans who look like military people, they wear camouflage uniforms that are similar to USA military outfits. The Humans in Avatar represent the United States of America. There is the Na’vi, these cat-like people are tribalistic and there are many of them and they outnumber the Humans on the planet, but they are divided. These Na’vi are a representation of the many diaspora nations on the Earth. They outnumber the people in the USA, but they are divided. This is a key point because it relates to the New World Order and I will go into more detail on this in the following paragraphs. And then there is the fictional planet Pandora itself, this represents the total connections of people and creatures on Earth. Planet Pandora is exemplified by the Great Tree which is rooted on top of the greatest deposit of unobtanium. This ore is supposed to be very rare and worth millions of dollars per kilo. It represents what is created by the connections of beings, that is why there is so much of it by the hub of those interconnections, the Great Tree. These connections are symbolic networks that tie people and nature together in modern society, like the internet, or oil pipelines…you get the picture.

The hidden symbolic message in Avatar with these factions is that the United States of America is forcibly occupying and taking from the connections of the people and natural resources. You could say this is an allegory for Iraq or any other meddling of the USA and its military for the pursuit of its “unobtanium” of the times, let it be oil, or geo-strategic positioning in terms of military bases, or even economies that are friendly to the USA’s specific form of corporate capitalism. But the hidden message doesn’t stop there. In Avatar, when Jake rallies the other divided nations to fight the Humans, this is actually a prediction for how the New World Order is coming into existence from both sides of the coin. On one side, there is the force of the USA that is represented by the Humans in the Story that is expanding and teaching English to aliens and spreading its influence by setting up military bases on other planets. For having one country like the USA with a super-powerful military is in line with the New World Order, because that military will support the Rule of Law as Opposed to the Rule of the Jungle. Internationally speaking, this means one big military supported by the USA is the best step to having a United Nation Super Military for a single world government. Basically if the USA has military bases almost everywhere and an unmatched Navy, then when the USA, Mexico and Canada turn into the North American Union or some other conglomerate, that union will control the forces that were formerly part of the USA. And when the North American Union, the European Union and other conglomerates and unions and federations become one. That world government will have control of the old military assets of the former United States of America. So the Humans in Avatar represent how military expansion of the USA will bring about one world military…the backbone of one world government.

On the other side of the exact same coin, the Na’vi cat people represent that the very backlash against the expansion of the New World Order via the US Military will invariably push forth the New World Order, just in a different way. In the movie, the Na’vi united against the Humans to save their Great Tree grove. This is indicative of the raver, drug experimenting youth counter-culture of the world that is trying to “wake up” and stop oppression and US Military Expansion. So what is happening in our modern culture is that people are uniting with the “Great Tree” of communication, or the Internet and are taking down borders between nations by making connections from nation to nation. People are trying to unite and use movements and causes on Facebook to achieve goals, and this is a good thing. But what is happening parallel is that the people are no longer fragmented. And having larger pieces to work with is exactly what the New World Order wants. So in Avatar, when Jake unites the tribes this is symbolic of how people around the world are using the United States to rally against. When in reality the United States of America is not the true source of the New World Order. That’s what people don’t understand. The New World Order isn’t an enemy you can fight by building an army or by forming relationships. The New World Order is a state of mind, that is made corporeal by the actions or inaction of global consumers. So when Jake and the Na’vi win the battle against the Humans and they drive the military off the planet. What that is saying is that in order to preserve what you have, you must unite to protect yourselves, because there are threats that are too powerful when you stand alone. This means that people are supposed to feel powerful when they are in big conga lines and rave parties with their friends, but when you are by yourself you should feel weak.

What people need to realize is that we are not weak when we are alone. In fact it is quite the contrary. Sole human beings are powerful. It may not seem that way, but by changing habits, making smart decisions on what you bring into your body, and thinking twice about what you want and need, people have the power to control themselves. This self control is rooted in discipline. Not discipline from others or from external forces, but true discipline that flows from the self. The New World Order is counting on the fact that people don’t want to engage in self-discipline because it is not fun. The New World Order wants you to think that the way to stay free is to be strong. Avatar sends that hidden meaning quite clearly. In the end, Jake even gets a new, non-handicapped body, and it is big and blue.

The hidden meaning in Avatar is linked to the hidden meanings of Legion. The movies were released about a month apart and this is in my mind not a coincidence. Avatar is a movie made for the masses. Its hidden suggesting was to say that people need to unite in order to stay safe and strong. Legion on the other hand had a hidden meaning that was to question authority and engage in self sacrifice for what you believe is the right path. In Legion, the masses are depicted as possessed by not demons, but angels who are doing the will of God. The movie isn’t really about the baby, the pregnant girl, or the guy named Jeep. The hidden meaning is all about Michael’s faith in himself. Michael knew that he was doing the right thing by helping humanity, so he stuck to his guns and was willing to fight against all of the Legion of Heaven. I think Michael is symbolic of every human being on this planet. Even tho he is an angel, he represents everyman. He has the power of choice. Just like we do. This film is basically an Illuminati recruitment piece. So Legion is saying that the masses aren’t here to help you, but that you might impress those who are in control by staying true to yourself.

Avatar and Legion in conjunction paint a picture for everyone except those who are in control. In Avatar, we have no idea who runs the corporation(s) that desire the unobtanium. We don’t get to see the face of the corporate guy’s bosses. On a similar note, in Legion, we never get to see any interaction between Michael or Gabriel and God. We just know that there were orders that needed to be carried out. So the hidden meaning is that those who are truly in control are elusive. And no matter how hard an army fights, or how hard a single individual fights, we all still serve those who are in control. Even if we think we are fighting against those who are in control, they will simply just say we are showing them something that they have not seen before, be impressed, and continue being in control. Both sides of the coin have been spoken for.

Notes on a Wednesday

Today was a good day. I think I’m coming closer to figuring out why figuring out life is no longer necessary. I had my Math Class tonight, and it felt good to learn Math. I could feel the brain moving in different directions…neurons firing in patters that are new. Or maybe the patterns were really old. Borrowed patterns. The homework wasn’t collected. My teacher said that today’s homework will never be collected. But I felt good instead of cheated. I felt like I learned something by doing it. OH RIGHT. This reminds me about what I was thinking about last night. It had to do with Buddhism. I intuitively sense that Buddha is guiding me on a path out of the burning building. It’s almost like he’s tricking me out of the burning building. But now that I’ve read the Lotus Sutra and I’ve let it sink in for a couple years. I can actually see the trick. And I like that Buddha devised an Expedient Device for getting me out of the burning building. But now that I’m watching myself exit the building, I can see that the doorway and the patio and the courtyard are all illusions. And what’s really happening is that I am entering a new building. But this time the fire is different, the situation has changed. At this moment I am taking a special time to thank all the teachers in my life who have been, currently are, or ever will be. I see now that every second has wisdom, just a small voice. There’s something to be said about not giving up. I think that is key. But also choosing your battles as well. When I think about who I really am, I often see myself in the mirror, checking to see how yellow my teeth have become from all the Venti Latte’s that I drink. Wanting to have discipline. My true self is pretty rough. Not very polished yet. You can’t bluff Math class. That’s why I like it. I have to do the work and if I get the concepts, then I get an A-ha moment. But without the work there is limited wisdom. By doing the studying, I was completing a vow I made to myself. And by completing the vow to learn the Math. I feel good. Forming habits out of vows are just as important as breaking habits of mistake laden practices. It’s all about choosing what kind of zone you want to live and experience life in. Your mind creates the zone but there is some lag, some delay. When I change my mind to do something, my body has to catch up and that can be chemically and emotionally challenging to make the change in the mind stick because the body wants other things.

Oops. I guess it’s Thursday now. Didn’t realize how late it was.

Girls that play HON have cute voices

Video Games rule, but its even better when girls with cute voices play them

Girls that play HON have cute voices. I love it when I’m play Heroes of Newerth and people are using their microphones. Especially when those people are girls. There’s something cool about playing computer games with girls over the internet. And Heroes of Newerth is a very competitive game that takes a pretty good amount of skill to play, so hearing girls on there is impressive. But what’s crazy about Girls that play HoN, is that they almost always have cute voices. It blows my mind. It makes me wish I didn’t solo middle so much with Arachna because I want to play in the lanes with them. There was this one girl that made this sound that sounded like an anime character or something when she died. None of the girls I’ve played with sound naggy or mean. It’s kind of weird. It’s almost like only friendly girls play HoN. Now this differs a great deal from what I’ve experienced with Tekken. I’ve played against girls that sound like screeching hyena bats when they play Tekken. Especially when I am doing a multi-throw combo with King. (Growl)

The Crow that Stayed for Dinner

Filed under: Innovation — Tyler @ 12:40 am

The Crow that Stayed for Dinner(s). In spring 2009, Corona del Mar struggled through its fourth consecutive year of sparse winter rain. With the local hills July brown; wildlife migrated into the lushly watered green neighborhoods, especially crows. With plenty of food and water, the crows multiplied and were abundant. When the parent crows deem that the time is right, they shove their chicks from the nest; watch them flutter to the ground, then raucously call to them to get them to fly into the trees. One of our neighbors (whom we’ll call Jim to avoid a Fish and Game Department problem) watched this act unfold in his front yard. The first chick flew awkwardly, but safely to the ground. For the second, its first flight was a struggle. The chick could not fully extend its right wing, tumbling in the air and crashing onto the lawn. After a bit, the chick was able to rise to its feet, but was dazed.

The parents called to the first chick, encouraging it to spread its wings. Within moments, it flew into the shrubbery and then, in a series of flights, worked its way into a nearby tree. Once their first chick was safe, the parents flew down to the second chick. Instead of encouraging the chick to fly, they immediately began pecking at the unfortunate creature. Another pair of adult crows soon flew down and joined in the pecking. Jim knew that this was normal crow behavior, but he simply could not watch it take place. He rushed on the patch of grass, showed away the adult crows and picked it the chick. The calls of the other crows then became loud and rapid. Then two of them began swooping, forcing Jim to take the chick into his house.

Jim first gave the chick some water. After drinking a bit, the bird saw a bowl of popcorn on the counter, hopped over and grabbed a couple of pieces. Satiated and tired, the chick found a rag on the counter, hopped over, sat down and then went to sleep. That was all it took. Jim decided to care for the chick until it was strong enough to fly away and live with other crows. But it didn’t happen that way. If you walk by Jim’s house, most days you’ll see the crow sitting on its perch, no restraining device of any type. There’s a bowl of water and a small bowl of food, which Becky (yes, Jim named the crow) seems to enjoy.

When Jim joins Becky on the patio, Becky extends her wings, takes a few beats and alights on his shoulder. Becky then works her way down his arm and asks to be stroked, which Jim does most gently, on her head, wings and chest. Contented, Becky then flutters and putters around the yard, pecking at items of interest, occasionally bring an item to Jim to examine. Invariably another crow or two hovers in a nearby tree, watching Becky, apparently puzzled that a crow would choose to live with a human. Becky’s contact with other crows comes during Jim’s morning run. They start off at first light. Jim runs along the street, while Becky, unfettered, flies from tree to tree. That’s when the other crows in the neighborhood start chasing her, pecking at he tail feathers. When Jim comes to a halt, Becky immediately returns to his shoulder, needing and/or wanting his protection.

Jim and Becky’s partnership makes me wonder about the breadth of animal intelligence, the desire for companionship and the need for purpose. Becky was being rejected and faced death. This is a common trait among certain species, to kill young that would not survive in their natural environment; an act keeps predators from discovering healthy siblings. These deaths assure survival of the fittest.

Becky clearly is aware of the problems she faces among her own kind. Despite her innate fear of humans, she bonded with Jim. He became a surrogate parent and by providing her with shelter and food, she never developed survival skills. Jim’s compassion resulted in the development of a complex and demanding relationship. Becky cannot survive without his constant help and attention. Should Jim fail to provide for her, Becky would die, possibly by acts of her peers or from an inability to obtain food in the wild. If Jim is away from the house for an extended time, Becky becomes nervous or agitated, sometimes even plucking at her feathers.

Jim must awaken with Becky, take his run and be at home in the evening. Becky does not accept substitutes for Jim, even his adult children who would like to care for her. Jim does not know whether Becky can travel, so he has not taken a vacation since their first encounter. What does Jim, a single man, gain from this relationship with an animal? One factor is uniqueness — only a patient and caring man would be willing to accept the obligations of this remarkable relationship. Another is the satisfaction — coming from saving this creature’s life. Parenting of a wild animal that chooses to live with you for now, but is free to go at any time…There are many reasons why the relationship between Becky and Jim works. For me, it’s a pleasure to see this remarkable pair on their patio and to talk to Jim.

For them, I hope that they share many more enjoyable dinners.
