Rygar at the river
The game Rygar for the NES is very challenging, but there are some tips that can help you defeat the Ligar (final boss) and his minions. I actually beat this game about 7 years ago. But I am replaying it again because it is so great. The first thing to realize about Rygar is that this side scrolling action/adventure game has RPG elements. But the

Click for Webcast Courses from UC Berkeley
It recently came to my attention that UC Berkeley offers many courses for free in audio format. Although the different courses use different file types, and access options, the service is quite good. I was able to download an entire Calculus course in m4a audio format. It was really impressive. Some classes don’t let you download the audio, and require you to

Unicorns and Ke$ha
Chris Marrs Piliero is the innovative and creative director that won an award a couple months ago for his direction of a great video for The Black Keys called “Tighten Up”. Now, Piliero has been always a strong promoter of things that are awesome and sometimes ironically ridiculous on his blog marrsattacks.com (which is now has been changed to imgonnablogalloveryourface.com) marrsattacks.com is a type of music

Meow! Slurp…slurp…
Here’s a cute video of a small kitty munching on some watermelon. The cat seems very happy and is making adorable eating sounds. From what I can tell, the cat’s name is Cooper. And it is a Persian cat. If you want more information on this cat and want to see more pictures, you can click HERE to visit the sweetfur blog at blogspot. Here is the

Lots of People on the Road lately
Today there were a bunch of pedestrians on the road of Avocado here in Corona del Mar. I was on my way back home from the gym and I noticed there were 2 pairs of teenagers walking up the hill that seemed to be in separate groups. And then a minute or so I saw a couple in their late 30′s walking

Genetic Modification
I was browsing around using my new, Stumbleupon.c0m account, and I found a very interesting webpage by NPR. This page was what appeared to be a mildly-interactive Flash movie of the Buddha’s wheel of Life. The wheel was intriguing but what really blew my mind and set me on a good track of thinking was the part on Humans. In this section the narrator, Robert Thurman discusses

Iron Man, stigmata and Number Four
Iron Man, I am Number Four have something in common besides being action-packed Science Fiction films. Both movies have their respective main character send forth light and energy from the palms of their hands. In Iron Man, the character, Tony Stark who wears the Iron Man suit of armor, uses “Repulsor Beams” in order to either fly, push opponents, or destroy large targets.

Starfleet Officer in Gym Uniform
The gym was intense today. Some man got hurt on the treadmill and bled all over it. I saw the blood with my own eyes. Too bad Dr. Crusher wasn’t there to give him a hypospray. The gym employee girl said, “This is why I didn’t end up being a cop.” I guess that was because she didn’t like wiping up the blood.

Haagen Dazs Ice Cream Bar
The coffee almond Ice Cream Bar by Haagen Dazs requires examination. The outer chocolately layer has bits of almonds, but it also has small morsels of toffee. The toffee is quite decadent with the coffee flavor of the ice cream. I purchased this ice cream bar during the break of my class and it was the perfect pick-me-up for a 3 hour class. Biting

There are a lot of inside jokes in this world. But some ways of telling inside jokes are more malicious than others. There is one technique of telling an inside joke privately to friends. And then there is telling an inside joke maliciously at someone else who doesn’t know the joke while in public. Then there is telling an inside joke on the public news feeds on Facebook

Dogvision 2
Harvest is a special dog that sees many things. I wonder what she sees? She likes to sit down at the park and relax. Sometimes when I want to get started on my day, she lays down and makes us appreciate the little piece of nature that is the park. Harvest doesn’t seem to looking at just one thing either. She follows different movements and probably different

This article is about a form of Facebook participation. It involves being offline from the chat mode but posting jokes on one’s status anyway. This is great because you can tell everyone jokes and not have to reap the consequences of having people hurl insults via chat mode. I love this feature and I’m going to use it more often whenever I have a really good
