Have you ever wanted to know how to make that chunky lead “Reese” sound in Drum and Bass music? This video below is a cool tutorial on how to make that kind of sound using the software program known as Reason. This video is great because it shows the multiple steps required for making the Reese sound. The video is made by pandadnb.com which is a youtube channel that has lots of mixes of Drum and Bass music. The reason why I think this is a great video is because it clearly explains the process of making a key element of popular DnB music. The video is a little more than eight minutes long and I think it’s worth every second. I look forward to hearing your amazing creations in Drum and Bass. Ha Do Ken! Street Fighter Legacy OWNS
Big thanks to Lord Manly who showed me this video of Street Fighter: Legacy. This is a fan video of Street Fighter 2 and it totally rules. It is focused on Ryu and Ken, but there is a cameo of Akuma in the beginning. The move has great special effects and the fighting is very nice. One thing that I love about the movie is that Ryu and Ken’s fighting stances are pretty much exactly what they look like in the game. So you are totally thrown back to Street Fighter days when you see it. The picture on the left is of Ryu tossing a fire ball. The digital effects used to make this fire ball was amazing. Too bad the Street Fighter live action movie from the 90’s wasn’t this cool. I was amazed that this was a fan movie and not some big budget production. I’d really like to see more films like this in the future. Well, without any futher ado, here is the movie below. Enjoy!
